Bishop 7-27-19

I started reading Mark Rippetoe’s Starting Strength. I finished the chapter on low bar back squatting; so of course I had to hit the gym and try it out.

.5 mile run & my dynamic warm up

Then:

7×10 low bar back squat with the bar (getting used to the positioning and form)

7×20 band pull-a-parts (10 across chest; 10 behind head)

Then:

2×5 squat @ 135#

3×10 KB swings @ 60lb

Then:

6×3 squat @ 185# (last set at 205#)

6×10 KB pull overs @ 35#

Then:

Some stretches to prep. for Saturday’s beer drinking

I am here to blog my fitness routines to the letter while doing my best to share my observations and suffering. I will be posting my exercise's weights and times along with my body weight. As a personal rule, I try to finish all my lifting routines as fast as possible as I like to keep my gym time under an hour. Please join in on my journey to escaping the office body and building one made of Iron.
